Definitions

Europrim Sp. z o.o. – Europrim Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Gliwice at ul. Bojkowska 59c, entered in the National Court Register (KRS): 0000219460
Personal data – all information about an individual identified or identifiable through one or more specific factors determining physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity, including the IP address of the device, location data, internet identifier, and information collected through cookies and other similar technologies.


Policy – this Privacy Policy

GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
User – any individual visiting one of the services operated by Europrim or using one or more services described in the Policy.


Code of Conduct

1. We do not use personal data entrusted to us for processing by individuals visiting our website for purposes other than performing tasks assigned by the user. In particular, we do not use personal data entrusted to us for marketing purposes.
2. We make every effort to inform all Users in a clear and understandable manner how and for what purpose we process their personal data.
3. On our website, we may profile displayed content (e.g., articles, announcements, advertising banners) to better tailor them to the recipient’s preferences. We profile content only based on consent obtained from the User or based on the legitimate interest of the administrator, which is Europrim, with the possibility for the User to object to the processing of data for marketing purposes or profiling.

We continuously conduct risk analysis to ensure that personal data is processed by us in a secure manner – primarily ensuring that access to data is only available to persons authorized by the Data Controller. We ensure that all operations on personal data are recorded and carried out only by authorized employees and collaborators. Our subcontractors are companies that guarantee correct and compliant processing of personal data according to our policy. We have signed an appropriate data processing agreement with each subcontractor.

● For analytical and statistical purposes – this allows us to know how our services are used. Analyzing information about your visits to our websites enables us to determine the direction in which we will develop our products, tailor them to the needs of our users, introduce improvements, and develop new services (legal basis for processing: legitimate interest of the administrator – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, which is adjusting content to users’ requirements).

With the contact form, you can contact us. However, using the form requires providing personal data necessary for accepting and handling inquiries, such as your name and email address.

Personal data is processed:
● To handle your inquiry – to provide you with a response, solve your problem, fulfill your rights under the GDPR (legal basis for processing: legitimate interest of the administrator – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, which is ensuring high quality of services provided).
● For analytical and statistical purposes – this allows us to conduct statistics of inquiries from users to improve the functionality of our services and develop new ones (legal basis for processing: legitimate interest of the administrator – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, which is adjusting content to users’ requirements).
● To verify the entitlement to use the service (legal basis for processing: legitimate interest of the administrator – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).


Do we disclose your data to anyone?

In the course of carrying out specific activities, Europrim may disclose your personal data to external entities such as:
● entities acting on behalf of Europrim,
● authorities or third parties (who submit relevant requests based on legal grounds).


How long will we store your data?

As a rule, we will process personal data until we finish providing a given service, until the withdrawal of consent (if the processing of your personal data was based on consent), or until an effective objection is raised in a situation where the processing by Europrim is based on Europrim’s legitimate interest. The data retention period may be extended for the limitation period if further processing is necessary to establish and assert potential claims or defend against them. Europrim will retain your data after the provision of the service or after the withdrawal of consent if required by law. After the processing period expires, the data will be irreversibly anonymized or deleted.


Rights you have from Europrim:

In connection with the processing of data, you have the following rights:
● The right to information about the processing of personal data – based on this right, you can request information about the processing of data, including primarily the purposes and legal bases of processing, the scope of data held, the recipients to whom they are disclosed, and the planned data deletion period,
● The right to rectification – based on this right, you can request the removal of any discrepancies or errors in the processed personal data and supplement them if they are incomplete,
● The right to erasure of data – based on this right, you can request the deletion of data whose processing is no longer necessary for any of the purposes for which they were collected,
● The right to restrict processing – in the event of such a request, Europrim ceases to perform operations on personal data – except for operations for which the person whose data it concerns has given consent – and their storage, in accordance with the adopted retention principles or until the reasons for restricting data processing cease (e.g., a decision of the supervisory authority allowing further data processing is issued),
● The right to data portability – based on this right – to the extent that data are processed in connection with a concluded contract or given consent – Europrim provides data provided by the person to whom they relate in a format allowing their reading by a computer. It is also possible to request the transmission of this data to another entity – provided that there are technical capabilities on the part of Europrim as well as that other entity. By exercising the right to data portability
● The right to withdraw consent – if data are processed based on consent given, the User has the right to withdraw it at any time, which does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the consent is withdrawn,
● The right to lodge a complaint – if it is believed that the processing of personal data violates the GDPR or other regulations concerning the protection of personal data, the person whose data it concerns may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. Persons authorized to process personal data. Persons authorized to process data entrusted to us are employees of Europrim.
